Full Moon Climb

The Crooked river Lighthouse will be hosting a Full Moon Lighthouse Climb on Thursday, October 1st, from 7-9 pm in Carrabelle Florida. visitors can enjoy this opportunity to see the gorgeous natural surroundings of the St. George sound, Carrabelle Beach, and Dog Island, under the night sky at this special Crooked River Lighthouse evening climb. This Full Moon is known as the Harvest Moon.

Visitors will be able to enjoy the glow of the beautiful setting sun as well as the rising full moon ( Sunset 7:23 pm, Moon rise 7:39pm ). visitors can climb to the top of the tallest lighthouse on the Forgotten Coast, Crooker River Lighthouse, to see breathtaking views of the bay. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for kids. All climbers much be 44 inches tall. Guest can also enjoy a delicious bite from the food truck, Kent’s Smokin Sausage , from 6-9pm. Visitors can also enjoy the fire pit ( weather permitting ) and s’more kits and hot chocolate will be available on the porch on a donation basis. The museum and gift shop will be open for guests’ enjoyment. Please note: there will be no live music at this event.
